Handi SOS is a safeguarding device which uses modern technology, is cost effective and is more effective at getting vulnerable people urgent help when they need it the most.
It's a small wearable button and when pressed in an emergency, friends, family members and local policing teams are sent an SMS text message with an alert message and your current GPS location which opens up in Google Maps. It was designed to act as a remote for when you can’t reach your phone in an emergency, to contact multiple people at once - improving your chances of receiving help before it’s too late.
Handi SOS is in various sports shops across the UK for climbing and skiing, though it was designed to be used to assist victims of domestic violence or vulnerable individuals.
