Based in London, we offer advice, shelter and support with our community partners, helping people build a route out of homelessness.
We offer a year-round casework service to people facing homelessness through trained caseworkers based at partnering drop-in centres in West and South West London. During the hard months of winter, Glass Door provides emergency winter night shelter.
Our services are open access – this means that anyone experiencing or at risk of homelessness can turn to Glass Door regardless of who they are or where they are from.
How we can help
Support & advice: Our expert caseworkers offer advice, advocacy and practical support to help find solutions to homelessness. Some of our services include working with guests to secure housing, a bank account and ID; access benefits and healthcare, resolve their insecure immigration status and refer them to specialist services, depending on their specific needs.
Emergency night shelter: From November to April, we run three night shelter circuits, serving up to 105 guests each night in Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Wandsworth. At the shelters, guests are provided with a hot meal, a safe place to sleep and a breakfast – as well as access to our casework service.
If you're in need of night shelter in Hammersmith and Fulham, you can go to our website or give us a call. If you need help with homelessness, head to our daytime drop-in centre.
