The Friends of Royal Brompton Hospital is an independent charity that raises funds for projects around the hospital. It is staffed by volunteers and, as well as raising funds, runs various services in the hospital.
The Friends raise funds through receptions and events across London - in the past, they have hosted events at the House of Lords and Westminster Abbey. They welcome fundraising ideas from members and non-members, so if you are a patient or relative with a suggestion for an activity or event then please do get in touch.
The Friends also welcome volunteers to help run their services at Royal Brompton. They run the on-site florist shop Brompton Flowers, which also sells second-hand books and clothes, and a kiosk in Fulham Road wing.
Evening Standard
The Friends have organised for the Evening Standard to be delivered to the hospital. Volunteers are usually available to deliver copies to the wards, but there is also a stand in the Sydney St reception.
