Housing Association in the borough with roots in Ealing and Kensington that has grown into one of the leading housing associations in London and the Home Counties.
In the early 1960s, the UK was emerging from the aftermath of the second world war and although the economy was reviving, poor and overcrowded housing conditions persisted in many areas.
For a large number of people on low incomes, the only way to find somewhere to live was to rent privately. The accommodation was often very inadequate, tenancy agreements insecure and rents high.
They run a number of services including:
- Evelyn Fox Court - a sheltered scheme accommodation in North Kensington. It has 33 self-contained flats, each with a kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. There are also two studio flats. Some of the flats have walk-in showers.
