Overview
We have worked with residents to develop the designs for new homes and a new community hall on the site of the former nursery and Tenant & Resident Association Hall, (70-80 Lillie Road).
A residents’ advisory panel has been established and in-person and on-line public events were held. In total over 150 residents have taken part in the co-production process for the designs of this development.
As the developer of this project, Hammersmith & Fulham Council will retain the ownership of the site and will manage all affordable homes, along with the maintenance of all communal areas.
New homes
This development will include a total of 42 new homes of which 50% will be affordable (including social rented and shared ownership homes). 10% of the new homes will be wheelchair accessible. The buildings will be operationally net zero carbon by energy-efficient design and eliminating the use of fossil fuels.
Current position
The plans for the new development were approved by the Planning and Development Committee of H&F Council on Tuesday 6 June 2023.
Next steps
It is planned that construction will begin in summer 2024.
