Call for volunteers

'The Department of Medicine, division of metabolism, digestion and reproduction is conducting a study in volunteers with Metabolic syndrome’

The aim of the study is to explore the effect of kefir daily consumption for 6 months on glucose and lipid metabolism (such as cholesterol) along with inflammatory status and gut microbiome in Metabolic Syndrome volunteers. You will be asked to attend the Clinical Research Facility at Hammersmith Hospital for one pre-visit and 6 separate day visits (one a month for 6 months).

Please, contact us if you are between 18 and 65 years old with if you have been diagnosed with Metabolic Syndrome (Having high blood pressure, high triglycerides, and being overweight or obese may be signs of metabolic syndrome).
