The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is the process through which we assess the current and future health, care and wellbeing needs of the local population.
Assessing the needs of the population involves:
- characterising the health and wellbeing status of the local population
- identifying inequalities
- illustrating trends
- describing local community views.
The ultimate purpose of the JSNA is to improve the health and wellbeing results of the local community and reduce inequalities for all ages.
