Winter Health Matters Giveaway Event

Family Champions Project and Family Hubs Team are hosting the Winter Health Matters yearly Winter Giveaway Event.

This is an opportunity for H&F parents, guardians, families and 60+ residents to:

  • Receive a FREE coat (1 per person per household)
    Coats are either Ex Store (highstreet and designer) or high quality pre loved from high quality sources
  • FREE arts & crafts packs for children (1 per child)
  • FREE oral health and toiletry kits and info
  • FREE tea & coffee, light refreshments for residents in attendance
  • Fruit and veg vouchers (Alexandra Rose Vouchers and Healthy Start Vouchers if eligible)
  • Vaccination information with Roving Bus vaccinations outside (MMR, winter flu vaccination, Covid vaccinations all available with info)
  • Receive energy saving and efficiency advice and information from Citizens Advice Hammersmith & Fulham
  • Peabody residents can speak with neighbourhood managers and log home repairs
  • H&F Works to offer jobs and training opportunities

Family Champions Project and Family Hubs Team are hosting the Winter Health Matters yearly winter giveaway event.

Children centre activities

Parents must book in advance to attend any session for 0-5 year olds. Some activities are also available for childminders and nannies.

Activities at Family Hub Old Oak Community Centre:

  • Antenatal checks by midwives
  • Baby massage
  • Breast feeding support
  • Connect and babble baby group (new born to 8 months old)
  • Health visitor assessments (new born to 4 years old)
  • Learn and play (new born to 5 years old)
  • Little explorers - learn and play session for children with SEND (special educational needs and disabilties). Professionals at hand to offer any support needed (new born to 5 years old)
  • Mini Sparks - non-verbal music sessions for children with SEND and their families. This is a 6-week programme and all sessions need to be attended (1 year to 4 years old)
  • Music at Heart - a theraputic music group for mums (and their babies)
  • OM:Pop yoga and wellbeing (10 weeks to 5 years)
  • Wellbeing for Mums Group
