Disability equality and co-production training course

People in a training session.

Starting in February 2025, this FREE course is a fantastic opportunity for all Disabled people living, working, volunteering, or studying in Hammersmith and Fulham to come together and make a real impact in our community.

Why join us?

Empower yourself: This course is designed to help you use your lived experience to influence policies and services affecting Disabled people. Together, we can work with councillors, council officers, and service providers to shape the Independent Living Agenda.

Get involved: Throughout the course, we will explore vital topics such as the history of disability activism, the principles and practices of co-production, and the different perspectives on disability. You will gain skills that are essential for creating meaningful change.

Paid participation: Your involvement matters! Participants will receive £20 per session for attending. This is not just a learning opportunity but also a chance to earn while making a difference.

Connect and collaborate: After completing the course, you will have the chance to join our co-production Peer Support Group and participate in various co-production events and activities. Together, we can build and reshape our community for the better!
