Crafting Change Activity Day

A workshop to design banners, mini canvases or posters that express a vision for change and celebration. All materials are provided, and you can either take your artwork home or contribute to a special community display. Drop in any time throughout the day.

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of life and join a gathering of women using writing, breathwork and yoga in a supportive circle. This workshop is an invitation to channel your ideas, time and energy into restorative practices and creativity.

International Women's Day art exhibition + cemetery tour

An exhibition by women artists curated by Friends of Brompton Cemetery volunteer, Anouschka Fryer. Join fellow park Friend Caroline Ellis for a tour of the Cemetery from 2pm on Saturday (8 March) which will end at the Chapel, where tea and cakes will be served.

In Conversation with Janet Ellis

Join H&F Youth Councillors as they interview actor, presenter and novelist Janet Ellis, mother of singer Sophie Ellis-Bexter. From her days presenting BBC's children's television programme Blue Peter to writing acclaimed novels, Janet will share insights from her varied career. Empowered Women Empower Women skills workshop

Action on Disability Independent Living Centre SW6, 5pm to 7.30pm

An interactive workshop empowering Disabled women in H&F through practical skills and talks. The afternoon will include sessions on confidence building, advocacy, women in leadership roles,cnetworking opportunities and more. BSL interpreters and Easy Read materials available on request. FREE, limited to 15 participants.

Many influential women across arts, STEM, politics and more, have called H&F their home throughout history. Trace their lives by joining a guided walk along our Women's History Trail in Hammersmith.


Children and 'harmful practices' webinar

Join experts at Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse to learn about and discuss practices that impact children, including female genital mutilation and child marriage. The webinar will include:

  • information from local independent support agencies who work in this area, including the Asian Women's Resource Centre
  • findings from a recent conference on children and harmful practices
  • information on where to go for support.

Learn about WIDE-A approaches (Wellbeing, Inclusive, Diverse, Equitable, Accessible) as part of this dyslexic-friendly and mental health awareness workshop for leaders, educators and their teams. Women from the Gener8te Collective will share their lived experience, wellbeing practices and resources.

Sound Bath: Total Relaxation
