Four wins in five games is the stuff of champions. Shame QPR are sat in the back country of the Championship.
The victory over Barnsley on Tuesday night showed the depth to the squad at Loftus Road after Holloway made five changes to the starting line-up and still came out victorious.
Leading QPR goalscorer Idrissa Sylla took his tally to eight for the season after opening the scoring against the Tykes in an enthralling game that condemned Barnsley to their 20th defeat in the last 23 visits to W12.
"I'm very pleased I can make five changes and the team play as well as that. It's a good feeling in that dressing room. It proves to me that the group are enjoying what they're doing and have accepted my decisions fantastically well,” said Holloway.
"We've rested a couple who will be playing on Saturday and we're starting to feel like we're not a bad unit. The team rose to what I wanted to do, so I'm going to have a right headache thinking about who I won't take on that bus. Unfortunately, I can't take everybody. But hopefully they'll take it in the right way.”
The bus journey will be up to Leeds who were dealt a sucker blow midweek when Fulham snatched a 96th-minute equaliser at Craven Cottage in the 1-1 draw between the play-off rivals.
Holloway will pit his wits against Garry Monk at Elland Road as he plans to continue his transformative work with the Hoops who were six points off the relegations places when he took over in November.
Matt Smith and Washington will be restored to the starting eleven as the striking pair aim to add to their free-scoring form of late and give Holloway a real selection headache.
Not a bad problem to have when you think about it.
